Image of the Holy Christ nailed to a cross potent at three points. The last restoration, which was carried out in 1983, led to the discovery of the original paintwork from the 14th century, covered up by a 19th-century repaint. This pictorial layer shows that the sculptor had originally represented the figure of Christ as still alive, with his mouth and eyes half open. On the back of the cross, at the point of intersection, is the image of the Lamb of God with the standard of the resurrection.
