Most of the ancient objects come from the Roman site of Cal Sotaterra (Solsona) and the pottery workshop of El Pla d’Abella (Navès, El Solsonès). The objects on display from Cal Sotaterra include pottery and glass, small bone and metal objects and personal adornments. An interesting selection of moulds and pottery recipients from the workshop of Abella made using the terra sigillata technique is on display. Also exhibited, from other sites, are fragments of pictorial mural decoration, a wine amphora imported from Italy, altar stones and a tombstone.
