The Madonna sits on a small stool that can still be seen on the left-hand side with much of its polychromy preserved. The child sits on the right knee in this white Madonna with child, which is rather uncommon. There is also a clear relationship in style with the Madonna of the Cloister, work of the master Gilabert de Tolosa. The restoration has unveiled the few remaining parts of the original polychromy. The narrow depth of the object and the unfinished rear suggest that this image was attached to something.
