Carved sleeping Madonna that was probably part of a group of the Dormition. Her dress is richly painted with a predominance of the golden background, plant ornamentation and red and blue tones. The hands, crossed over the body, and the face are suggestive of a lifeless body. To avoid cracks, a large hole was created at the rear, running from the neck to the feet.
