BELT BUCKLE
MDCS 2378
Bronze belt buckle with a hook-shaped attachment that fastened to another piece with slots for loosening or tightening the belt. The outer surface was coated in a golden layer of which remains are conserved. The decoration consists of spirals and two stylised horses one above the other, surrounded by small geometric motifs. In previous periods, it was broken in two places and repaired with iron staples held together by nails.
